stormy ogden.

the colors and the clouds and the grit that day. the perfect day for me.

swim north and i’ll find you.

Swim north and I’ll find you. But there’s no moon, no
line where the city, meets the sky, meets the offing.
The body is an astrolabe, the pull of home in her skull.

black and white down 9 avenue.

my first jaunt with my new camera. i’m kind of
afraid of it, it’s so amazing.

sometimes there are no words to say thank you for a
crazy and unexpected thing, so you just say thanks in
pictures and pictures and pictures.

and more pictures is what i intend to do.

thank you SMT. this is bliss.

#11.

I love you,
in ways
you’ve never been
loved,
for reasons you’ve never been
told,
for longer thank you think you
deserved
and with more
than you will ever know existed
inside
me.

turner valley, part 2

in part 2 of this series, I followed some advice and pulled out most
or all of the color in some of the photos. i think this edit brings out
the history in this place.

what do you think? is there a preference for black and white vs. color?
